Beige: A Learning Color

I stare at the beige wall that they painted beige

the geniuses in charge of our school district

what a “learning color” it makes me want to

barf into the plastic lined trashcan

utter lack of emotion in these walls and these

blank caffeinated faces

plodding along like prodded cattle

i am dehydrated and decide to do nothing about it

a form of resistance against this

conditioning center - what a
First-World notion that free education is oppressive

but on the other hand my hands are bound by the

Knowledge that they decide to teach me

what is being kept from us?

is there some big secret?

is the big secret that there is no big secret?

what a shame that would be. what a

waste of defiance and dehydration
