too much commitment

    "live fast die young"

seasoned dramatized idolized

miserable old & slow

tortured young & fast

you probably won't have to kill

it'll happen eventually anyway

why not spend your time in love?

the MainStream happily spends

time energy reality worth

    on their

useless worldly pleasures

oh, so sweet

I hope each

                  and every one of us

get what we deserve

something tells me, the tides are biased

ugh, roll out of someone else's bed

put on someone else's shows

drink and underpaid Colombian's blood

I understand the media

pause;

consider living a deathlike existence

dirt blood hunger poison rust shame

oil ill sore loss dry stuck

kill smell rot beat strain feet

dynamite new bold sex loose

crinkle taste nervous first change

your feet move little

      are my problems relevant?

comparatively,

    no. first world treats me

    it's fair treachery to compare

    America to the Third World

you must feel my efforts,

I stopped

    eating animals

    showering daily

    buying new

    drinking plastic

but what does that help

I still

    drink bloody coffee

    use a phone

    buy groceries

    ride in cars

    work for bigcompanies

    let myself love vainly

well, I guess

we're doing okay -

    for the first world -

let's take off those useless masks,

why don't we

    it'll make us credible
